This is a sweet stand alone romance with a single dad and a woman trying to bounce back to her true self after divorce. It can easily be read as a stand alone.
Tide meets Aria when her house starts to fall apart after just moving in to it. Everything goes up hill from there. They clearly are drawn to each other but both are trying to respect boundaries. They start hanging out and become friends first which is always a plus. That slow burn leads to some explosive chemistry once they both are all in.
The secondary characters also round out the story nicely. I was happy to see Colton and Gia again and that they both also befriended Aria. I could have done without her family drama but I guess it speaks to what made her as she is now.
Loved the epilogue! Nice easy read!
