This book picks up right after the first book ends.  You will need to read these in order.  In this book we continue to follow Finley as her eyes are opened up to a world she knew nothing about.  She has her group of friends and Carrick and his acquaintances there to help her.  

Finley has to make some major decisions and I feel like there are even bigger ones tied to the prophecy.  I can't decide if I like Carrick for her or not.  There is definitely chemistry, but if you are looking for a steamy read, this is an ever evolving story with no love interest professed for now. 

I loved the world building of faere.  That in and of itself made for a wonderful fantasy read.  Loved everyone they came in contact with there.  I also loved that Finely is beginning to come into her own. She is ready to fight this fight, whatever it may be.  

I can't wait for the next piece of the story to come out.  I love getting little tidbits as we go. I have a feeling the final book is going to be EPIC!
