What a great collaboration by these two authors! The story is a perfect addition to any of your holiday reads. I would pull this one out and re-read each year.

The authors set up the wonderful smallish town of Holiday Springs, CO and I was ready to pack my bags and move there. Honestly, the secondary characters made me fall in love with the story. Lots of Easter eggs dropped and I hope we get to see future stories of some of my favorites.

This book gives us a broken hearted Nikki and a man who lost his first love unexpectedly. Throw in a wise beyond his years 11 year old and your heart will warm right up to this little family.

I loved the sass that Nikki throws. I loved the patience from Raff--ready for the long haul of wooing her. I loved their extended families. Mostly I loved the falling in love. Hearts can be mended and we end up with who we are meant to be with.

So happy to see this is a series. I can't wait to read more.

This is the first book in a spin off series from the Knights of Fury MC.  It really reads as more of a KOF book but it  intro goes about introducing one of their business ventures, Fast &  Fury.  This series, I assume, will cover the employees of the custom build shop???  Regardless, there are lots of scenes with the KOF MC guys in this book.  If you have read the series so far, we have met Crow as one of the MC members. 

This book takes a completely down and out young woman and plops her right in the middle of Fast & Fury as a front desk person.  Little does she know, but that connection is going to land her in the sights of some baddies.  Her story line ties in to the KOF story line.  Just a few more unsuspected twists. 

I liked Crow more as the book went on. It was never really explained why he was so stand offish/mean to Bronte in the beginning. Because he was attracted to her??  I am not sure but as they got closer, he developed more of a personality.  

Lots of highs and lows in this one. Some tears to be shed. A bit on intrigue.  Overall, a great start to the series.  I am looking forward to reading more about the  mechanics/artists that work in the shop.

I haven't read the rest of the series but that is ok!  You can jump right in to this sweet holiday read. 

This one had so many yummy moments.  Ballerinas, single dad, magical snowfall, New Year in New York---all good things.  Layer in a second chance romance for Isaac and Peyton and the book just begs to be read.  

I loved everything about this book.  Perfect winter night read.  Snuggle up and get to know Isaac and Pey and their families.  Great secondary characters.  It made me want to know more about the Wrights as well.

He wedged his large body beside me in the bed. On his side, he draped one arm across my middle, curling his other under his head. 

I watched him out of the corner of my eye, completely unsure if I was supposed to cuddle into him or what the hell we were doing. 

“This okay?” he asked. “You comfortable?” 

I was a lot of things. Confused. Lost. Overwhelmed by guilt.  

But because it was Camden, comfortable was one of those things too.  

As an answer, I rolled toward him and buried my face in his broad chest.  

His whole body sagged as he began stroking the back of my hair. “Nora. Nora. Nora.”  

In a way, Camden and I were strangers, but as his heart played in my ear, I felt two puzzle pieces clicking into place. A calm washed over me. The dark cloud of my betrayals still existed outside of Camden’s embrace; it just didn’t seem so ominous anymore. He knew all the dirty and broken parts of me and still came back, holding me as though he could keep me together.  

Sliding an arm around his back, I curled in close, shifting to tangle my legs with his. “I’m tired, Cam.”  

“I know,” he whispered, hugging me tight.  

“No, you don’t. Nobody understands. I’m a disease who infects everyone who gets close to me.” My breathing shuddered. “It hurts. Everything hurts.” 

“Do you remember our first summer together when a grasshopper got into the container where we held the extra worms? You screamed so loud when you opened that thing and it came flying out like a bat out of hell. It got on your shirt and then hung on for dear life. With all the racket you were making, the damn thing had to have been terrified, but he never jumped off. I had to peel it off your shirt, one leg at a time.”  

I gagged at the memory. “Thanks for reminding me of that. Awesome timing.”  

He chuckled and pressed his lips to the top of my head. “I’m the grasshopper clinging to your shirt, Nora.”  

Now, if that wasn’t some good old classic Camden Cole rambling, I had no idea what was. 

I tilted my head back, resting my chin on his pec, and peered up at him. “You do realize I have no idea what you’re talking about, right?” 

My cold, hollow chest filled with a warmth I hadn’t felt in years when he grinned down at me.  

“I genuinely thought you’d find your way back to me. A phone call. A visit. Anything. But as time passed and I got older, I realized I fell in love with a girl who had no idea how to be loved.” 

My stomach wrenched, and emotion made my vision swim. “Camden, I—”  

“No, just let me talk. Hear me out.” He tucked a stray hair behind my ear and let his thumb linger at my cheek, sweeping back and forth. “I know you love me, Nora. It’s flashed in your eyes every time you’ve seen me since we were kids. It’s like every light in the house suddenly comes on, but it terrifies you, so you spend the whole time we’re together running around, turning them all off, convincing yourself that you don’t deserve for people to love you back. After reading Release, I wasn't sure I wanted to know Nora's story. She was such a big character in that book and I wasn't sure there was more to say about her. Oh how wrong this author proved me to be.  This was a heartbreakingly beautiful tale of second chance romance.  The epic love story of soul mates and the true test of first love. Nora's story was more than I was expecting about her yet perfectly explained her character in her brother's story. 

Young Nora does not live the best of lies. She tries everything to survive. Once summer she meet Cam and that kicks off a life long friendship. Those friends separate and their are twists and turns but every time they come together, it is like they never left. 

The story runs parallel to Release but from Nora's perspective. And then goes ahead in time to show us how Cam and Nora eventually are in the right place and the right time and can truly be in love. 

The whole story is rich in small town atmosphere. Open your heart up to the life that Nora and Cam have lived. You will cheer for the under dog in this story. After all is revealed, how can you not fall head over heals for Cam??  Loved his heart so much! 

Fantastic story.  Both books in this world are top reads for me.

3 Hearts

I didn't remember reading this author before but I guess I have read one other of her books.  Paranormal is my first love, so I was happy to offer to read this one for review.  It has taken me a bit to collect my thoughts but here goes. 

I do love the world building and the history that is presented here.  It is hard to put out something fresh when much of the lore is part of oral tradition world wide.  SO this shifter wolf story starts with an offering.  The two women don't know why they are picked but rightly so, they are afraid.  

Once they are taken, the story really becomes more erotic and less story. The ladies are mates to some of the wolves. We bounce back and forth between Gracie and Lizzy. Other than the s3xual attraction, I did not get the sense that either young lady ever felt settled or willing to be in the position they were thrust into due to a treaty with their town and the wolves. 

And then the story just kind of ends. There are hints dropped that more women are to come. I am not sure whether this is the end of Lizzy and Gracie's story or if there is more to discover.  Overall, just a half way there story for me.  It needed more story telling.  Lots of steam that was off the charts, but for me, just ok as a story.

“There will be no more kissing.”
I’m staring at myself in the mirror. I have sleepy eyes, my face is clean of makeup, and my hair is up in a bun with a headband in place to keep the flyaways off my face while we ride.
I’m giving myself a stern talking-to.
“No kissing.” I point my finger at my mirror image. “Yes, he’s hot, and his hands are crazy amazing, and it would probably be the best sex of your life.”
I frown.
“No one said anything about sex. Now you’re taking it too far, Rina. Keep your hands and lips to yourself and just work on getting ready for this role. That’s the job. Doing Ben is not the job here.”
I narrow my eyes at myself and then nod once in satisfaction.
That’s been decided.
Ben suggested I wear layers, and I followed orders. I’m in workout pants and a t-shirt with a sweatshirt over that. I have a scarf to put around my neck if I need it. It’s winter in Seattle, which means it could be seventy or thirty.

Because I’m a red-blooded woman, and Ben is hot as hell.
Hot. As. Hell.
My stern bathroom conversation goes right down the toilet as he pushes the door closed with his foot and spins me around to pin me against it.
His hands skim down my sides, then move back up again to frame my face as he thoroughly explores my mouth.
I was still half-asleep when he arrived. I’m fully alert now.
He’s breathing hard when he pulls away, and his blue eyes are on fire as he stares down at me.
“Good morning,” he says.
“Hi.”
“I couldn’t help myself.”
“Not complaining.” I feel the smile slowly spreading over my face. “I gave myself a pep talk earlier, explaining that we weren’t going to do that again.”
“Sorry, I didn’t get the memo.”
I swallow hard as he backs away.
“It’s okay. I don’t mind. Is it hot in here?”
He laughs and points at my sweatshirt. “You’re dressed for cold weather.”
“Right. Yeah. Okay, so we’re going on a bike ride?”


What a great side story for this much beloved series! Sweet romance between Ben and Sabrina but for fans of this series, the golden ticket was all the all the cameos from favorite characters in previous stories. 

This is a novella so there isn't much time for character development. The author gives us an insta-attraction but friends to lovers look at these two.  Great humor and some steamy moments let you know that these two are the real deal.  I look forward to seeing them again in future books. They fit right in with the Montgomery clan.
