I am a huge fan of sports romance and also a huge fan of this author's previous works. This book takes us back to college with a hot shot, all star quarterback. Brady is used to getting his way in everything. Doesn't have to try hard for grade, women beg to be with him and he is golden on the field.
Then he runs into Harlow. The girl could not be more opposite from him. She doesn't want attention, she studies all the time, but her secret fan-girl moment is that she LOVES football as well. She is so surprised that someone like Brady even pays her any attention, that she blows him off--for a long time.
The story is a sweet YA novel. Some angst but for the most part just a romantic, get to know you, friends to soul mates kind of read. Sports fans will be happy we get to see some actual football in the story. Very different than the suspense driven stories on this author's backlist. A delight!
