This author is always good at bringing the banter and humor to her stories. I think she went over the top on this one.  Dahlia and Troy are so wrong they are right.  I loved every single scene with them.  I loved the sass, I loved the chemistry, I loved the blossoming love.  So great all around.

It's never bad when the author gives us more Lincoln Landry!  He show up in this book, too.  this book has a bit of suspense to it.  It has a bit more than she has given us in other books.  A bit more danger. It all worked. 

Great read! Great look at Landry Security.  I can't wait to read more!

I was looking forward to Jaren in Allegra's story after the brief scenes we had of them in the previous book.  The author did not disappoint!  What a lovely slow burn, grumpy/sunshine book.  Jared was the hero he needed to be. 

I loved seeing both their stories unfold. What started as a convenience turned into a self awakening and an ability to forgive themselves.  I continue to love this setting in Scotland. this book took us right into the farmlands and the description of not only the hard work but the beauty of the land.  

It was great to see previous couples from this spin off.  Allegra's friend, Jared's cousin. Everyone hoping with fingers crossed that these two were for real. Great addition to the series.

I've been waiting for Tate's book since we first met her. This is just a brief peek  at what I am sure is going to be a sizzling romance with lots of action!

I love the unique writing of this author. Her books are always twisty and full of emotions.  She is a one click author for me--always. This book by the blurb purports to be one thing but reading it and getting in the weeds, it morphs into something more. 

I am not a fan of love triangle so I was put on edge when we immediately meet Price and Scottie and then Koen comes into the picture. And we hear Price's thoughts on Scottie but see Scottie falling for Koen. It just set me off from the start. And in the end it really isn't a love triangle at all. 

I could not connect with Price. I wanted to cheer for him but then thought Koen was the better man. I don't know. My emotions were all over the place on this one. Beautiful words on paper but the actual meat of the story just fell flat for me.
