This book is the third in the series and I think they just keep getting better! I love all the Badd brothers. I love their humor, the fighting, the bro love, their s3xy swagger. All of it. This one brings us up close with the pilot brother Brock and Claire--best friends with Zane's girl Mara from book #2.
Jasinda Wilder knows how to bring all the feels into a book. Just look at her backlist and prepare to be emotional! This book takes a bit of a u-turn from the previous two. We don't spend a lot of time in Alaska. What we get is all Brock and Claire down and dirty and up close and personal.
Claire has some heavy baggage she has carried most of her adult life. while she tries to sort out her head, Brock could not be a better partner for her. He is loving and supportive and truly wishes the best for her. He does get his major alpha moods as well. I love that he steps out of his comfort zone and tries to delve into the kinks that Claire would like to see in their relationship.
This one still has all the sweet and s3xy times, but be prepared to jump into some heavy material as well. Both Brock and Claire need to heal from the past in order to move forward. Lots of self reflection. Some tears and some book throwing moments to be sure.
Of course we do get a peek at the rest of the brothers. The clues to the next book prove that we will be in for a bumpy ride once again as yet another stray finds her way to Alaska and hopefully into the arms of a very Badd man!
