Divorce. Divide.
Gage Falcon's life is turned upside down. When backed against a wall, he does what men with 'Steel' convictions do...take control.
Fight. Strength.
Phoenix Star knows it's going to take everything inside her to be who she is destined to be. Fresh out of college and knowing she can't go home and get where she wants to get, she takes the path less traveled.
Redefining life sends them both down a long dirt road to...become.
What happens when two people starting over in life and needing to find some control come face to face?
They get...HAMMERED!
5 hearts
Falcon's Landing is supposed to be a refuge. Idyllic setting to just get away and tune out the troubles of the world. What happens when Gage Falcon tries to relax but finds a woman who pushes all his buttons? She irritates him, doesn't take his sh*t, she's intelligent, and turns him on like no other woman ever has. What starts out as a way to get her out of his system, turns into a unique relationship that both of them admit isn't about love. Yeah, right!
Pheonix Star isn't looking for a man. What slams into her is Gage Falcon and he is almost more man than she can handle. Hot, broody, bossy and in charge. She doesn't know she needs him until he is under her skin. Both of them are about to take a serious left turn in how they thought their lives were going to play out.
Falcon's Landing is a refuge. It's where the Falcon brothers have always gone to find HOME. It's where boys can be boys and family roots are laid down. It's love. And it's about to grow!
Loved everything about this story---well except for the villains! Gage and Brand...uhhh....pulled on the heart strings right there. Gage and Pheonix together......smoking HOT! Mags....perfect maternal influence even if she isn't a biological mother. Gage's half brothers....also very intriguing. Can't wait for their stories. Oh, I did I mention we get to see ALL the original Men of Steel? Oh, yes! And their families. Loved it all.

Her style is raw, gritty and authentic.
Love an alpha and a strong heroine? She does too.
