And this is why I read this author. The second half of Reese and Fisher's story is why readers fall in love with romance books. This one will grab you and give you all the feels. It's true love, first love, second chance love and all the swoony, angsty parts in between.
5 years have passed and both characters have grown. I loved that Reese took a chance at seeing if Fisher would fall in love with her as they are now. Risky---but so necessary to her heart. Loved the two of them getting to know each other again.
I was a fan of Fisher's family in the first book. This time around I wanted to kick somebody. They were a bit catty and really not too supportive with what was happening with Fisher. I'm glad he finally laid down some ground rules for them.
Terrific story. So glad to have had the opportunity to get to know these characters and fall in love along with them.
*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Jewel is a Wall Street Journal & USA Today best selling author with a quirky sense of humor. When she's not saving the planet one tree at a time, you can find her role modeling questionable behavior to her three boys, binge-watching Netflix with her husband, and writing mind-bending romance.
