This is the 5th book in the series and dare I say, it's the one fans have been dying to get to? Rune has been the outcast, the bad guy, the hero to many over the course of the series. Well now he has met his match!

Rune has been saving human mates from the Mating Council and sure death for years. He and his band of rogues have hidden the women away from dragon kind so that they hopefully can make their own choices. He is all calm and cool until a little firecracker finds him. And Hadyn knows way more about Dragons than she should.

The two reluctantly work together but Rune's Dragon recognizes her and wants her. Lots of things are changing in the world of Kings and mates. The power struggle continues. What Dragons thought they new about mating and females is quickly being blown apart.

We get to see a lot of action in this one. Secrets come out. We get support not only form more rogues but from Rune's old teammates. LOTs happening in this story and it was FANTASTIC!

I will be so sad when this series ends as well as the Kings series. Everything is fast approaching resolution. You would be best to read the series in order as the story arc continues throughout.
