I admit that this is one of my least favorite tropes. The romance author falling in love is a bit on the nose for me. However, Ms Bennett rocked this one. I am totally out of the world of racing so each page turn had me wanting to learn more about the sport and about these two protentional partners. Posey was adorable. Just being her sweet self was enough to tame the bad boy Lex. Loved the side characters except for he shall not be named. As always--Woman Power! Loved seeing Brienne pop up from the author's hockey series. AND the next book will follow her racing team! Great start to a new series and for me anew sport.
