This the second book in the series about a group of college football teammates. Each book is written by a different author.  I enjoyed the first book but this book blew me away.  I couldn't put it down!  Helped a lot that it took place over the holidays and really put me in the spirit! 

Crew's story is one of friends to lovers.  His Pops dies and leaves him a trip of a lifetime to Germany. His surprise traveling companion is none other than his estranged childhood friend and also great friend of his Pops---Hazel. 

Together they learn to forgive each other, put closure on Pops passing, and learn what choices they have going forward.  I loved both characters so much!  The banter was witty and the tension between them was sizzling.  Lots of smile and a few tears for this one.  

Not a sports romance. Football hangs around in the background but we don't see any action. The connection between the books is the guys playing together on a college team. 

Great read!!
