Jesus, Mary and Joseph. I have said it before with this series but here it comes again---this author is not holding any punches when it comes to this MC brotherhood. Holy cow! I can't believe how each book seems to build upon and get better than the last. It helps a lot that I have read them all and have a vested interest in this group of rag tag men now.
Doc has been the constant and steady one throughout the series. He is the Doc after all. Hold on to your scalpels though! So many layers to this man! Your heart will cry for him. We also have also met Joanna in previous books. Her and Doc have a strong friendship and the events in this book, push them to identify their feelings toward each other.
There is not a dull moment to be had. Loved how caring Doc can be even if his head is screaming evil things at him. Everyone in the MC has a voice in this one. Lots of action and danger. Loved how Jo found her center and decided to make life worth living.
Can;t wait to read more!
