I jumped on this one based on the blurb alone.  Single dad stories get me every time!  Beck is the uber single dad in this story.  He will do ANYTHING for his daughter English.  She was a surprise but he became primary caregiver like it was in his blood.  

Tables start to turn when English's birth mom squeezes herself back in the picture.  She wants English but Beck is not willing to go there.  In comes Sheridan--English's teacher.  Could she be the answer to his ability to keep English in his home?  

Lots of craziness going on in this one.  Lawyers, grumpy alpha male, a teacher protecting her heart, a pretend marriage proposal, some slap stick humor, an adorable little girl.  Lots of sweetness and some really steamy s3xy times.  Perfect read, right?  

If anything, I wished that Beckley dropped his hardball image a little sooner.  He admits attraction to Sheridan at a later point, but I think her ability to help him out would have been a little easier had she known what was going on inside his stubborn head.  Overall, though, a good read.  Happy to have been able to meet this family!
