5 Hearts doesn't really cut it in this instance. If I could give more, I would. Anyone who has followed the series, knows that Bridger has some deep, dark sh** he is trying to hide from. He participates at the Silo, he is giving but never emotional, he would do anything for his friends, but he isn't willing to take for himself.
This story was so much more than I was even hoping for. We know from the previous book, that a mess was dumped on Bridger's couch. He doesn't want trouble but can't turn down a woman in need. And Maggie was needing help desperately.
Wicked Bond gives us all the feels. Maggie's history. Bridger's story. Friendship. Love. Family. Even more to the point, the Silo and Wicked Horse are there in the background. It's an obligation for Bridger. But the story is not about the s3x club. It's about trust and safety. Who we let into our inner circle and how they can make us be stronger just by being in our presence.
This is one book you need to read after the rest in the series. Not because of spoilers, but because you need to see Bridger as other people see him to better understand where he has come from and where this book takes him to.
