This author never disappoints! We get a story within a story and then when you think you have it all figured out, she slams us home with a gut wrenching twist!  Holy cow!  Jump in to this book and hold on. NOTHING is as it seems! 

The story is told with flash backs in different POV.  I don't typically like that writing style, but in this case, it totally enhanced the story and the anticipation of what was to come. 

Bianca and Madden have some history.  They both have a ton of baggage. They both don't want to embrace their forbidden love but their hearts can't help it. It's best for you to just read the story without much detail.  This is a dark romance. Second chance love. The author does a great job of keeping love and caring at the center, even if our main characters are going off the rails at times.  Thier hearts recognize each other until the end. 

Great read!  It's part of a series but you don't need to read the other books. Previous characters are introduced just fine in this book.  I did love seeing them again, though!  Great epilogue!
