This is my first read of this author. I was intrigued both by the p aranormal aspect and the MC trope. This book is about the new club President, Crow. He happens across Bella as he rides into town and the story takes off like a rocket from there.
The two certainly have chemistry, at least enough for a one night stand. But they quickly need to rely on each other in order to solve who has Bella's sister and what they want with Crow.
Lots of MC action in this one. Bella and Crow are great together. Where I fell a little bit short is on the paranormal end of the story. I got the gist of it but I think there could have been more history explained here. Because they don't fit the normal excepted history of paranormal beings, I was confused as to how they came to be and what the rest of the world looks like. Are all MC's paranormal? There were hints at that. Are there others besides the MC that have abilities? Lots more questions for me about this aspect of the book. Maybe we will get more in books to come.
Overall, not a bad start to a series.
