This is the first book in a new spin off series for this author. We know Blaire as the only sister to the Gibson Brothers. Fans may have read a brief part of this story previously published. But now we get to see what happens with Blaire and Holt once their steamy night is over.

Both characters are super independent, alpha, but soft and squishy inside when it comes down to it. Their chemistry is off the charts. Great humor sprinkled in throughout the story as well. Their lives so far have been all about work--sometimes about family--but mostly just getting the work done. Neither has time for relationships or so it seems. Looks like when you finally find the right person who just "gets" you, your heart may go ZING!

Fans of the author will love seeing all the cameos in this one. Blaire's brothers, the Landry crew all pop up and enrich the story. Nice groundwork for rest of the Mason brothers. I can;t wait to see them all get an HEA!
