Jed!!! This may be my favorite of the series so far. I know I say that every time but for me Jed just makes this story. He is so complex yet has a heart of gold. It not only is a second chance romance, it's about a second chance at life.
Jed is trying to make amends for how he lived and survived as a young man. Josie had the absolute worst beginning in life, had some time with happiness and then lost everything. Unconditional lovefis what brings these two together. Hearts and souls meet to make our perfect match. Jed and Josie are just destined to be together.
A few twists in this one. Lots of fun with meddling Whiskeys. Great to see everyone again. Loved that Josie was able to trust again and reconnect with her siblings. Just a perfect read for me in just about every way.
Can NOT wait for Dixie's book. Her brothers are going to flip I think. Another great book by this author.
