I picked this one based on the recommendation of some reader friends.  I have not read this author before and I hadn’t read other reviews on this book before starting.  I am afraid a bunch of words that I write will not do this book the justice it deserves. 

It isn’t fair to give a synopsis more than what the author has already given.  This is a book you need to experience without any pre-conceived notions about what it contains.  It is a story of un-ending love.  First love.  Love of a husband and wife.  Love of a child.  Brotherly love.  Second chance love.  Pure, unadulterated, from the heart….love.  It’s about love that burns and consumes the lives of Crew and Julia.  Sometimes, in order to best prove the rightness of our love, we must sacrifice that which we hold most dear. 

This book will make you cry in sorrow and in joy.  It will make you want to hug those you hold most dear.  I guarantee you will feel the love contained in the words of this story.  It is well written and I thoroughly recommend reading additional titles by this author.

Adriana Locke lives and breathes books. After years of slightly obsessive relationships with the flawed bad boys created by other authors, Adriana has created her own.

Adriana resides in the Midwest with her family. She spends a large amount of time playing with her kids, drinking coffee, and cooking. She loves to be outside in the sunshine and always has a piece of candy in her pocket.

Her first novel, The Exception, was released in 2014. The followup, The Perception, was released in March 2015. Both books follow the same characters, but can be read as standalone novels.
Sacrifice, a novel unrelated to the others, is slated to hit stores on July 13, 2015.
