Review
This is the third and final book in the Irons trilogy of the
Norfolk Series by MJ Fields. We have been following the story of Jax Irons and
Frankie Cruz-Irons as they battle strong political forces and find a love that
will carry them through the tough times to come.
I have enjoyed watching Frankie become a strong confident
woman. She is ready to fight for Jaxon
and fight along-side of him no matter what he chooses to do with his life. Frankie is an excellent heroine and perfect match for the sometimes stubborn and over bearing Jaxon. This story quickly became about the strength
one finds in love. Whether that is love
of a parent, love of a child or the passionate love of a mate--love is the glue
that makes us all stronger. I was happy
to see Jaxon blossom under the love he receives. He is a better man because he believes in the
power of love verses the love of power that generations of his family have
reinforced.
The author does an amazing job untangling all the lies and
deceit we have seen through books 1 and 2.
Ultimately, the bad guys are still bad and the reader champions the good
guys to prevail. My only wish for the
book is that it was a bit longer! I will
miss this family and would like to see where they end up. There is a nice teaser for Shadows at the end
of this story. I am sure we will see the
Irons family through Shadow’s eyes as the series moves in a different
direction.
This is not a stand-alone novel. You will need to read Irons #1 and #2 first
in order to understand the situations.
Overall a good read!

About the Author
MJ Fields's love of writing was in full swing by age eight. Together with her cousins, she wrote a newsletter for family members.
