How wonderful to come back to this small town again! All the small town feels are there and then there is Miles. sigh.... He is a keeper. Works with kids as his day job, supports his sister and her kiddos, has a great sense of humor and the patience of a saint. Once he sees Penny, it's all over but the writing on the wall.
Penny is a struggling single mom with lots of trauma. Miles doesn't fit into her world but she wants him to so badly. I loved how the whole group of friends not only supported Miles but also brought Penny into the fold and gave her a found family.
Great humor, Great chemistry. Wonderful read by this author once again.
