This is a spin off next gen book form a series by this author that I have not previously read. Because of that I played catch up for a first few chapters, trying to get into the world building, Bella nd Ivan have known each other most of their lives.  Ivan is the outsider and Bella is the princess.  When he decides to kidnap her, everything goes topsy turvy. 

There is heavy love/hat between these two. At times, it seemed to overwhelm the story line. But then things begin to move along and their feelings come into play.  Lots of twists and turns in this one. 

Overall a good read. I suspect fans of her Eagle Elite series will enjoy the book more.
