I love the unique writing of this author. Her books are always twisty and full of emotions.  She is a one click author for me--always. This book by the blurb purports to be one thing but reading it and getting in the weeds, it morphs into something more. 

I am not a fan of love triangle so I was put on edge when we immediately meet Price and Scottie and then Koen comes into the picture. And we hear Price's thoughts on Scottie but see Scottie falling for Koen. It just set me off from the start. And in the end it really isn't a love triangle at all. 

I could not connect with Price. I wanted to cheer for him but then thought Koen was the better man. I don't know. My emotions were all over the place on this one. Beautiful words on paper but the actual meat of the story just fell flat for me.
