I picked this book up because I love the authors. I'm not sure if I read the synopsis ahead or not. I am not usually a fan of the student/teacher trope. That said, I could not get into this couple. There was lots of steam between the two. In fact the whole premise starts off with them getting busy somewhere they shouldn't have.
I also felt like I was starting the story in the middle. I was playing catch up as to what was going on and who all the players were. The couple just acted so indifferent to each other most of the time. I could not connect with them.
Again, I do enjoy reading these authors. I am hoping this is just a one off for me.
