Danica's husband died in the plane crash leaving her a single mom and having to juggle life and finances and a young active boy for the first time on her own. When Camden reconnects as part of the survivor group, she finally feels like she is doing the right thing. Camden had been friends before the crash and they naturally fall into that friendship again.
Camden struggles with moving on with this best friends wife. The two together are magical. But Camden has his doubts. His angest flows through the story but the two are good friends and more regardless of that.
Loved seeing him get his HEA. Loved seeing the other two survivors give him support on his journey as well. Great hockey romance!
