This is the 7th book in this next gen series and each book gives us more to love about the Gallo family.  Book 6 ends on a bit of a cliffie and this book takes place just prior to that event and then moves forward 10 years. 

I know fans aren't surprised by this but Rocco is every bit as much of an alpha as his dad and uncles before him.  He has been struggling through life ever since the accident.  What everyone else surmised has finally come true.  Rebel walks back into his life and all the stars align. His heart calms. His soul cries out to hers. 

They have shared grief but so much more positives to look forward to.  Rebel also comes with some additional baggage and a sweet little girl to add icing to the cake.  I love how her daughter instinctively knows she can trust Rocco to keep her safe. 

As always, seeing the whole family together for Sunday dinner is a hoot.  Love catching up on all the couples.  Great second chance romance!  I can't wait to see what the cousins cook up for Mello.  That will be interesting!
