It was wonderful to get back in this world again. The book stands well on it's own but it made me want to go back and re-read the previous two books. I am also sad, since this is billed as a trilogy, that we won't see more of the Royal Shifters in the future. 

This book is unique in that we have a half fae/half wolf shifter as the main character. She is unusual to all in the pack.  No one is sure how her magic works or if Laila would loose her magic if she mated. 

Cedric recognizes Laila right away as his mate.  He is very patient and kind to her. Trying to take things at her pace instead of jumping ahead to the mating.  The story has some great romance but it also has a fir bit of action.  Rogue wolves and dark fae are stirring up trouble. 

It was great to see the now blended pack all working together.  Loved seeing the previous couples and where they were at in their lives.  Again, sorry to see the stories end with this book.  I would love to see Zayne and Micah get their HEA as well.
