This is the second of the series of a group of friends who have honestly been through so much tragedy. I am happy they have each other, but my goodness. The book is a great friends to lovers romance with the added angst that Brendon was Harmony's husband's best friend as well.
For me, the guilt and the grief was almost overwhelming the rest of the story. I haven't been in their place. But it seemed to me that there should have come a point where there was light and hope. And although the author expressed those feelings between Harmony and Brendon, I was not feeling the emotion between these two.
I love the group of friends. I loved the banter back and forth. The brother's relationship makes the story for me. I am looking forward to more in this series. The first book was better. This one was ok and I'm hopeful the next one will blow me away.
