I was intrigued by the synopsis of this one. I was hoping, fingers crossed, that it wasn't too much like Night Owl by M Pierce. I was good if that was the case, but hoped for a fresh twist. I was intrigued--again--about late night connections over the internet. Neither knowing each other's names. Getting to know one another without any of the social barriers society sets forth. Yeah.....that happened for about two seconds and then it was just odd.

I really liked each character on their own. Eden and Ryder each have baggage. They both need some healing in order to move forward. They seem to click and there are a few coincidences that lead to further connection. They truly go from friends to lovers. Removed from the circumstance of their meeting, I think I would have liked to see what happened between the two. Loved Eden's brother to pieces! So sweet!

It just got skeevy to me with the whole porn scenario. Granted, Ryder was more than excepting of everything, yet he created a fake account so he could still watch her before their private time. The goodness in the book didn't out way the weird for me. Not my thing.

However, as always, Penelope's writing and flow are spot on. I did finish the book and wonder what could have been. I have loved many works by this author and will continue to read her. Give it a shot it may be more interesting to you than it turned out for me.
