This is the 4th book in the Hope Town series by Harper Sloan.  This series is a spin off of her Corps Security series.  Both series are well worth the read.  This book steps a bit away from the Corps family as it is about Nate Reid's business partner--Shane and his wife Ember's best friend Nikki.  You could easily read this one as a stand alone as it doesn't have a lot of the family dynamics in it like the other books.  But, again, great series so give them all a try!

Shane and Nikki have horrible Ex's and hatch upon a plan to "fake" date so they can throw the Ex's off the scent trail.  Nikki has always admired Shane from afar so she isn't sure her heart is going to stay in the friend zone but decides the benefits will outweigh the potential for a broken heart.  

Shane decides they need to make this relationship look as real as possible.  Their chemistry is already off the charts so they agree to do the casual thing.  This is where the author has stepped up her game.  She is great at writing about hot, alpha males and strong women.  But the s3xy times between these two are pushed waaaayyyy off the charts!  Whew!  Nikki didn't know she needed that dominance in order to be truly happy in the bedroom. Did I mention that the guys run a "coyote ugly" type club with all male dancers.  And.....Shane speaks very dirty French.  It will just blow your mind what these two get into.  

Great addition to the series.  Great read all around.  The next book takes us back to the Cage family.  Please let Liberty have fun with both those boys??!!   Can't wait for that one!
