Release Blitz and Review: Charming

Title: Charming  (Seven Series,  #6.5)
Author: Dannika Dark
Genre: Paranormal
Published: December 8, 2015

After seven hundred years, Prince has acquired everything a Packmaster could desire. But when he meets the enchanting Nadia Kozlov, he realizes there’s one thing he doesn’t have: answers. Prince owes his life to a man he hasn’t seen in centuries, and Nadia holds the key to his whereabouts, because that man is her father.

Destinies collide when Nadia’s sister shows up unexpectedly. Katarina is a skilled bounty hunter, hot on the trail of a nefarious outlaw who turns out to be Prince’s old nemesis. Prince teams up with Nadia’s sister to track down the Mage, but the real game of cat and mouse is already underway as sparks fly between Prince and the cunning bounty hunter.

The only trouble? Nadia wants him too.

In the Seven series timeline, this full-length novel is 6.5.  However, Charming can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

This is a quick little jaunt in the timeline for the Seven Series by Dannika Dark.  It takes place almost immediately following the end of Two Minutes.  We met Prince in the first book in the series and he has played a supportive if not life-saving role in the Westin Pack over the years.

What we find out in this book is Prince’s back story.  Where he comes from, his family, his friends.  Why he behaves the way he does.  No doubt, he is a very powerful pure-blood alpha wolf.  Most other wolves would be shaking just meeting him.  Everyone except a very sassy bounty hunter named Kat.

Kat is able to get under Prince’s skin.  She is everything he shouldn’t want but is drawn to her anyway.  I loved Kat’s attitude and her ability to put Prince in his place.  Still not a fan of her sister Nadia.  She has her own demons to slay.  When Prince and Kat finally do come together, the chemistry is off the charts.  Kat is able to take him back to his most primal element.  Their wolves know that they are meant to be mates.

For me, Prince was a bit of a jerk in TWO MINUTES.  He redeemed himself somewhat in this book but I have a feeling he will always be a bit stand-offish.  Kat will be good for him and hopefully their pack will flourish because of their bond.

There is intrigue in the story.  Missing persons, bad guys, Prince’s connection to Kat and Nadia.  All of it wrapped up nicely with the wonderful writing style of this author.
