This is book 3 of the series and it may be my favorite! We have met Ryan and Poppy in the previous books. They have known each other most of their lives. What the author brings is just a prefect dreamy afternoon read about two people building something more than friendship with each other. 

Ryan has a ton of money and he want s to shower Poppy with all good things. She tries hard to keep him grounded but his heart is just bursting for her. Ryan is a good guy through and through. He is a good dad, a great brother and wants to be the perfect match for Poppy. I loved watching him convince her she was worth his time and that they would be great together. 

I loved seeing Ryan and his family. The bonds are tight there and even some past events finally got some forgiveness.  

I look forward to reading more in the series. Great addition!

This finale was stunning! Great way to put a bow on this side series in the elemental world. As always, Carwyn and Brigid steal the show. Loved the scenery, the side characters and the whole premise. The author brings us full circle and back again to get this all tidied up for us. So much action in this one. You just need to keep turning the pages.

What a grand adventure. Full disclosure, I have not read Tenzin's series. I just couldn't see her together with Ben having watched him grow up. BUT, this was over the top the right call to make to end this series. We will get to see both of these couples again touching on future books. But for not, we say see you soon--never good-bye!

This is a spin off next gen book form a series by this author that I have not previously read. Because of that I played catch up for a first few chapters, trying to get into the world building, Bella nd Ivan have known each other most of their lives.  Ivan is the outsider and Bella is the princess.  When he decides to kidnap her, everything goes topsy turvy. 

There is heavy love/hat between these two. At times, it seemed to overwhelm the story line. But then things begin to move along and their feelings come into play.  Lots of twists and turns in this one. 

Overall a good read. I suspect fans of her Eagle Elite series will enjoy the book more.
