This is the finale of the the two books in the Life series about Colton and  Josie.  You will need to read them in order.  Once again this author has taken our emotions right to  the breaking point, spit them out and then tried to heal us all over again. 

I can't reveal too much of the story here. you will need to read it to experience it. What I truly admire is the sense of deep unending love between Josie and Colton. They may have wavered. They may have seen other people but never, in all their years, have they doubted the love between them. It's this love that holds Colton up as the book progresses. It's this love that spurs Josie in to action. Ultimately, it is their love that heals them both. 

I admit the big twist was not what I was expecting. I am also not sure I liked it. But that is the joy of reading books. It pushes us to think things we may not have considered. As was the first book of this set--Colton is the star.  So steadfast and sure of himself and his love of  Josie.  I loved him.   Josie is more of a piece of work but she grows on you. 

Excellent writing by this author. Just enough flash backs in the story to give us a rounding of characters actions.  Great read!
