I have read everything written by this author and I am always quick to scoop up her next work. This is the first in a series that spins off the Collins family who's youngest sister, Tabby, is married into the Montgomery Ink family in another of her series. I sooo badly wanted to love this one. I just could not feel the emotion between the two leads. They were sexually attracted but I was not getting the "let's build a relationship" vibe from them.

I loved the setting--small town, close family. Really liked the other two brothers and can't wait to see what they get up to. Loved the secondary characters a lot--including the children. So much potential! Maybe with a re-read I may look at things differently but for now, it was just ok for me.

I will absolutely be reading more in this series and more from this author. Just a one off to be sure.
