Ok. Not what I was expecting. I have read many of the books by this author. Grim is loosely involved in at least 2 of them. I appreciated his work with the MC and with the Cartel. It honestly took me a long time to place him as a billionaire business man in Vegas. I was not connecting with him.
His relationship with Kenna is a whole other thing. Super hot and heavy on the frenemies front. Still lots of underworld involvement. Everyone has secrets and the author takes us on a long road to get to the end.
Not my favorite by this author. I know there ismore to come in this series and maybe the characters will become more beloved as time goes on.
I will read the next one just to see where this story goes.

Author J.L. Drake was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, later moving to Southern California where she lives with her husband and two children.
