Great start to a new series by this writing due. Hockey romance for the win! We meet Rowan and Kyleigh and the sparks are flying from the start.
This is a best friends sister romance but for most of the book, Rowan is unaware of the connection. He and Kyleigh ty the no strings thing but both their hearts get involved. Great banter, great chemistry and plenty of spicy time.
I love sports romance that gives me some of the sport and this one delivers. We get a fair amount of ice action. I also love the teammates bonding. It helps that they all live at "the Nest" but we still get to see how they hang out off the ice.
There is a little bit of tension but for the most part this is a sweet read about two people trying to get to know each other better and trying to figure out if relationships work for them or not.
I'm looking forward to reading more about the team.
