This is the second book of the Beckham family saga. I must say I was surprised with how the story unfolded based on the nuggets that were dropped in the previous book. Totally sucked me in and took me for a ride.
Cove and Jace have a history. Cove was practically raised by the Beckham's. She has always been around. Jace has not been around. 20 years older, he has been gone more than home with his military service. Cove has held a candle for him all these years.
Lots of suspense in this one so I won't go into too much detail. Loved Cove's spunk and her willingness to stand up for herself. Jace----if I could have changed on thing, it might have been his ability to just be honest with Cove. I think she could have handled it and I think they may have gotten to that place in their hearts sooner. Also, although the s3x club was HAWT--I don;t know that it added to the story. It just confused their relationship more I felt.
But, all in all--a great read! This can be read as a stand alone but much more enjoyable if you know all the family dynamics that are laid out in the first book.
