Loved all the action and the world building. Loved that Iris can talk to the animals and they love her. I really loved watching Draven change before our eyes. I was worth the read to see them fall in love at last.
I think I know where baby sister Rose's story is going but this author is full of surprises. I can't wait to read more about the Thornheart Coven.

I had issue with the first book of the Lawson Brothers in Redemption Hills because of the writing style. The grunting-- the incomplete sentences. I am here to say that this book redeemed my view of the author. The pacing of this book had me on the edge of my seat. Jud Lawson is the Grim but watching him trust again and turn over his heart to Salem--priceless read right there.
Salem has demons. Jud had named his issue the Demon. He thought it was buried deep. That is until Salem lands on his doorstep. His Demon will do anything to protect her.
A bit of a slow burn back and forth between these two. They don't want to be attracted to each other. But as Salem's Mimi says - the heart knows the way and will lead you where you need to go.
All that tenson leads to a finale with fireworks and all the secrets coming out. LOVED the epilogue so much. Can't wait to see more of these two and Trent and Eden in baby brother Logan's story.

“Sorry, is my mood killing your buzz?” I asked. Her blue eyes sparkled in the glow of the airplane reading light. “It really is.” I shook my head and went back to mindlessly flipping the pages of a magazine I’d bought at the terminal back in Colorado. I’d picked it up with hopes it would be a distraction from the cyclone raging within me on our way back to Atlanta. The minute she ordered that drink, I’d known it was a lost cause. Her hand came across the armrest and landed on my thigh. “Bowen, stop. It’s not a big deal.” It was the truth. Compared to everything we’d been through, our house could have been swallowed by a sinkhole and it wouldn’t have been considered a big deal. Honest to God, I was lucky to still have her at all. For a moment, I sat there and watched her struggle. It wasn’t the most chivalrous thing to do, but I was all out of grand gestures. She unbuckled her seat belt and lurched to her feet, her phone along with a handful of ice cubes from her lap falling to the floor. “Damn, this is going to leave a huge stain.” The plane jerked again and she stumbled forward, crashing into the seat in front of her before I could catch her arm. “Dammit, sit down before you get hurt.” Ignoring me, she bent over to fish her phone from under the seat. “Hit the button for the flight attendant. I need some club soda and a lemon. STAT.” “No, what you need is to sit down.” I gave her arm a tug and dragged her down to the seat. Using the tip of my boot, I swept her phone toward her. Aforementioned lack of chivalry aside, I was no contortionist; leaning over to pick it up was out of the question. She folded her upper body over my lap and blindly patted around the floor. I fought the urge to run my fingers through the back of her hair. In the beginning, it would have been a no-brainer. I’d have curled forward and suggestively whispered in her ear, “Since you’re already down there…” She would have grinned up at me, her whole face filled with mischief as she traced a finger over my zipper, ignoring anyone who dared to watch her as she replied, “You mean down here?” I’d have grabbed her hand and made her stop even though I was the one who had started it. She had no filter. She always took it one step too far. I’d loved that about her when we’d first met. It was fresh and exciting, a far cry from the stuffy women I’d dated in the past. But now, she was in the past too. We were in the past.

This is the final book of the trilogy and it picks up right after the second book ends. You do need to read these in order. I realize you may be reading this for the review but my recommendation is to not read any reviews and just jump in to the story. There are so many twists and turns that you will want to have the surprise of being able to discover them on your own.
Remi and Bowen have been through a lot. As this is the final bit of their story, it flowed pretty much as I expected. Fate was on their side through everything. Destined to be together no matter what. They have some things to sort out but in the end, love always wins.
Great writing once again from this author. It is always a pleasure to read what she puts to paper. The humor and playfulness in this one helps to over come the darkness that could bury the characters. I loved it all.
Start at book 1 and read them straight through. You won't be disappointed!

This author is a one click author for me. Her books never disappoint! This book is a super fun rom com story with quirky characters and a whole lot of humor! I mean anyone who's meet cute involves dogs, coffee and blushing innuendos--you just know the story is going to be full of fun from there.
Shep and Sophie could not be a better match. Lots of similarities and similar interests. But Sophie has sworn off relationships. Somehow Shep convinces her that they can hang out as friends. The innuendos continue--hot phone s3x ( or not s3x) included. They are best friends and then they are more!
There is some angst just because this is a slow burn story. But it is well worth the wait when these two finally realize what they mean to each other. Lots of humor. Sizzling s3xy times and just a great pleasant read overall. Loved the end and the epilogue!
