MASTERING HER SENSES - Cover

12 Masters. Infinite fantasies. Welcome to Blasphemy…

He wants to dominate her senses—and her heart…

Quinton Ross has always been a thrill-seeker—so it’s no surprise that he’s drawn to extremes in the bedroom and at his BDSM club, Blasphemy, where he creates sense-depriving scenarios that blow submissives’ minds. Now if he could just find one who needs the rush as much as him…

When an accident leaves Cassia Locke with a paralyzing fear of the dark, she’ll try anything to get help. Ready to fight, she knows just who to ask for help—the hard-bodied, funny-as-hell Dom she’d always crushed on—and once stood up.

Quinton is shocked and a little leery to see Cassia, but he can’t pass up the chance to dominate the alluring little sub this time. Introducing her to sensory deprivation becomes his new favorite obsession, and watching her fight fear is its own thrill. But when doubt threatens to send her running again, Quinton must find a way to master her senses—and her heart.

I love everything Laura Kaye publishes.  This series, although not my go to trope, has me HOOKED!  This is Book #2 but the third story of the series.  Master Quinton has been intriguing all along and we finally get a look at what he has to offer.

What I like about the series is that the Masters of Blasphemy are not only good friends, but also good business men.  They run an upstanding club.  People are happy .  Fantasies are fulfilled.  I enjoyed the first two stories so much because we get a peek at the club.  In fact the couples meet at the club.  But the stories leading up to the HEA are about that relationship building outside of the club.  It's a great mix.

Cassia has had a traumatic experience while deep in a cave.  She hasn't gotten over her fears even though 2 years have passed.  What is different about this book, is that Master Quinton has to pull out all his sensory skills and work within the club in order to help Cass get over her PTSD.  The author does a great job word-smithing so that the reader can actually feel the fear coming off of Cass.  Of course, Quinton is so patient and caring.  He does his research so he can help her fight her fear.  Falling in love becomes a wonderful side benefit of all the time they spend together.

Great read and wonderful addition to the series.  Fans of the author will enjoy the quick trip up to see the Raven Riders and the race track.  Jagger is Cassia's brother.  Always great to see characters in beloved stories from a different viewpoint.

Looking forward to meeting the rest of the Masters.  Can't wait!
