I have read this author one other time with a fair review. But this book made up for it in a big way. I am huge fan of the With Me in Seattle series and this author did the series justice.
Wells is a friend and co-worker of Matt Montgomery. He knows the whole family well. The story starts out in the past and we move forward in time with Wells and Malia. They meet when Mal is only 9 and then reconnect when she is 20.
The book has suspense, some angst over their attraction to each other, and wonderful never seen moments with the Montgomerys. Loved the chemistry between Malia and Wells. Loved Wells fit as one of the extended Montgomery family. Just about a perfect story to accompany the Seattle series.
