This is the 5th book in the series. Eagle is part of the MC but we don't see much of the club in this story. Lacey knows Eagle because she has hired him to do security at the club she is an event planner for. They have both admired each other from afar. When Lacey's ex creates a scene and the club, Eagle steps in. When things get worse for Lacey, Eagle steps in. When things go south for Eagle, Lacey steps in. These two have known each other for a couple of years. But when they decide to act on their feelings, sparks fly and they just are so comfortable with each other.


Lovely afternoon read. Sweet romance with just a little bit of action/suspense. Loved this one.

I love a good single father trope and a second chance romance on top of that!  This was just a gem to read. This is book 2 in the Nest series by these authors.  We meet Henry and Bohdi in the first book but now we get all the details on what makes Henry tick.

HEnry and Jade have known each other most of their lives. After college, Henry thinks he is doing the right thing by letting Jade fly and become who she needs to be.  Both of them suffer from this. When Jade comes back home to help her mom, the two re-connect. 

We see wonderful flash backs of their younger years. And we get to watch them try to figure out where their hearts are at and if they can stand the test of time. 

Great humor with the hockey team mates. Adorable little boy who only wants everyone to love. And the epilogue!! Wholey cow! I am looking forward to the next book!
