What a perfect crossover book from the much loved Landry series to the super hot Gibson boys. Sienna Landry didn't get her HEA in the Landry series but that's ok because Holy Buckets! She held out for one of the most broody, s3xy, stubborn heroes I have read in a long time. Walker Gibson is totally book boyfriend worthy. Read this book just to meet him.
Now, Sienna holds her own as well. Talk about a woman with her own mind. She takes no prisoners, ever. And she is not afraid to play a little dirty to get a little something from Walker. Small town life is so not her, but Walker and his family and the towns people are making her see things in a different light. Maybe small town is where she is meant to be.
I love the simmering tension between these two. A bit of a build up before things finally explode. I also like how Walker was trying to do the right thing to protect Sienna. Good people--all the Gibson's. And don't get me started on Peck! That man better get a book! Awesome secondary character!
Great start to the series. I am dying to read more! Hurry please!
