This is a debut novel by Brandi Aga. I was drawn to it because of the synopsis. Intrigued. It is stand alone but there may be hints as to a continuation of the character line. The story brings us Leylah who is unhappily married to Ryan. They have grown distant. He pays very little attention to her. And then she meets Roman. They flirt back and forth through text and skype for awhile. Finally, Ryan breaks Leylah's last straw and she climbs on a plane to go meet Roman. Together, they are explosive!
So, yes, there is cheating in this one. Leylah does come clean and try to make things right. Roman loves her and gives her the attention she craves. But he has a big secret as well. One he is willing to protect Leylah from at all costs.
Lots of hearts breaking in this one. Lost love. Found love. Broken heart. It's all there. Add in a sweet baby and some remorse and this story becomes loaded with all the good stuff. Can't say that I saw the ending coming. A bit of a foreshadow, maybe???
Looking forward to what other tales this author may bring to the table. Great first stab at publishing!
