What a wonderful light read! Perfect pick me up on a rainy afternoon.  This is the story of Reagan and Carter.  Secret high school crushes who meet again as adults.  

Reagan is a curvy girl and I love that she owns who she is and what she looks like.  She has also inherited a quirky, no filter gene from her mom and that makes her mouth get her into more trouble than not.  But her students love her and her friends and family adore her and she has confidence in spades.  Except for when it comes to Carter.  The football star makes her tongue tied and nervous. But worse, she feels he couldn't possibly be in to her.  

Carter was so patient with Reagan, letting her catch up to where he was feeling.  Laugh out loud moments between these two.  Carter plays in the NFL but this is not really a sports romance.  Loved all of his family and friends as well. 

Great RomCom and sure to put a smile on your face.

Lila was born in Brisbane Australia, her step-dad was in the Army which caused them to move around a lot. They finally settled in country Victoria, Australia. Being the youngest of four children she admits she was spoilt a bit. Even drove her mum crazy when she refused to eat meat at a young age.

Now, Lila lives with her husband and two children.

Hoax knows two things very well.
