No one writes small town romance better than this author. This is a new series and we meet Lachlan and Ainsley and get introduced to all the things that make Ember Falls unique. 

The second chance romance is constantly simmering just below the surface. They secretly have always loved each other. As adults it still seems like a bad risk to their friendship and the fact that they don't live in the same area is holding them back.

Ah...but love is love and these two can not keep apart for long. Great emotion but even better dialogue with the whole group of friends.  LOVE single dad romance and Lachlan is just the best dad. This is the 3rd book of the series--the baby brother of the Noughton group. It may well be my favorite. Enemies to lovers but so much heart and family and love through this whole story. 

Emmett is treated like the baby of the family. His whole life he has had no expectations put on him. So when his sister-in-law's sister needs someplace to stay, no one thinks Emmett is the best location for her. 

Briar is the perfect match for him. She holds a long time crush but she is also willing to call him out on his BS at the same time give him a fair chance.  Their chemistry is apparent from the start. When everything comes out in the wash, Emmett is the one who has Briar's back. 

Loved this story. Loved the Noughton family together. I would love to see dad get some love but in the meantime we get to seer some cousins have their HEA!  Yea!  I didn't see that one coming!
