This is the 6th book in this next gen series but you can easily read it as a stand alone. Both lead characters were such a delight to read. Jillian and Michael had chemistry from the start. 

There is a bit of drama but things resolve quickly and Michael could not be more of the perfect boyfriend. He forgives, forgets, praises and supports.  Just a swoon worthy hero all around. 

There is a little bit of hockey in this one.  Lots of talk of the mechanics and schedule. Great support to Michael and Jillian by his family and team mates.

It is always worth a read when you get to revisit the Gallo family.   This is Rosie's story and she proves just as self reliant and of her own mind as her sister and older cousins.  

Rosie works at the family tattoo parlor.  She happens to run in to an old neighbor after being stood up on a blind date.  What follows is her strongly disagreeing that the two of them should be together. And Dylan strongly encouraging her to listen to her heart for just a minute. 

I really like Dylan and what he stood for. I was even more intrigued by his brothers and where they are in life.  Maybe we will get to see more of them???  Loved the Gallo family meals and Rosie's grandparents.  What a force to be reconned with.  

Looking forward to reading more of the next gen series.  Great story!
